THE EHLERS are a pop rock four-piece from Brisbane who live to write and play melodic and harmony-rich songs. The band has sprawling influences ranging from Ben Folds to the Beach Boys. Songwriters Kane Mazlin (vocals, piano) and Derek Orr (Guitars, backing vocals) have been making music together since early 2005. They are backed by an energetic and creative rhythm team made up by Ryan Strathie (drums, percussion) and Stephen Orr (bass). Seepier Tones is their debut EP, released under Brisbane independent label, Murder Pop (murderpop.com).
