The Astronaut-7 independent release has been well received across the country, gaining airplay on nearly 25 stations, and recently being play-listed with Nova in prime time as well as being featured on the Nova Home Brew and Ozone shows and featuring on the Nova Website.
The career of Astronaut-7 stems across a number of Adelaide and Wollongong bands, and for a number of years he played 4-5 nights a week with Wasabi, an Adelaide cover band.
The music is melodic and dynamic and moves between electronic and acoustic influences. Stylistically the music has been likened to New Order, Pete Murray and the Eels.
Members of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra feature in the string sections and other collaborators have helped to create a high production, impressive first offering.
