Tycho Brahe produces original modern electronic pop music that harks back to the '80s glory days of synthpop luminaries such as New Order, Depeche Mode, Human League, and Giorgio Moroder.
"Cassiopeia" is the band's full length debut album, originally released in 2000, which caps off an intense period through the late '90s which witnessed a series of compilation CD appearances and underground EP releases. On it's release, this album garnered great reviews from synthpop and electro reviewers and officianados around the world, from Germany to Norway to the USA.
Founded in Brisbane in 1993, Tycho Brahe has become a fixture of the live music scene, and the band continues to use vintage electronic gadgetry to defiantly produce danceworthy rockin' synth tunes with a blatant disregard for the latest fads and fashions in the FM pop fodder world.
