Tycho Brahe - Tasty
tasty_200x200.jpg

Tycho Brahe produces original modern electronic pop music that harks back to the '80s glory days of synthpop luminaries such as New Order, Depeche Mode, Human League, and Giorgio Moroder.

"Tasty" is the band's second album, released in 2001. Essentially a collection of remixes from the debut album "Cassiopeia", the CD also includes a couple of live favourite cover versions - "Send Me An Angel" (originally recorded by Real Life) and the now legendary (in Brisbane Gothic clubs at least) "Tainted Love vs Dr Who". Also included is a new song, the up tempo instrumental dancefloor stormer "Delos Parts i and ii". Like it's predecessor and companion CD "Cassiopeia", "Tasty" also received glowing reviews from synthpop critics around the world.

Founded in Brisbane in 1993, Tycho Brahe has become a fixture of the live music scene, and the band continues to use vintage electronic gadgetry to defiantly produce danceworthy rockin' synth tunes with a blatant disregard for the latest fads and fashions in the FM pop fodder world.
