Brisbane hardcore band Godnose spent 2003 hitting up Australia's Major cities in support of there internationally acclaimed third album Desolution within Bleached Confinement, racking up shows with Toe to Toe, Mindsnare, Hard Ons, Cro-Mags and Rollins Band. To cap the year off, the band undertook their second European tour in November/December (having toured there already in 2001),playing with the likes of Pungent Stench, Gorerotted, Goldblade and the Casualties across Germany, Austria and England. Now available Australia-wide, Traversing The Newly Drained Swamps was the Band's official European tour album. The disc's new studio tracks (one featuring vocals courtesy of Claire from Razel) hark back to the band's early fast and furious hardcore thrash sound, while the studio rarities and live cuts (some recorded in england in 2001) amply demonstrate the band's heavier, more progressive leanings.
